Ranks of DTU
DTU functions on the premise that advancement is determined through skill and activity.
A highly skilled player can advance all the way to captain. A highly active
player can run for the offices of Admiral and Fleet Admiral. See the
info page for a more in deapth explination of our clans
policies.
Enlisted Ranks
- Recruit - Recruits are any fresh members. 5 wins are required to attain Ensign
- Ensign - This is the basic Rank for players still in training.
15 wins are required to attain the officer rank of leutenant
Officer Ranks
- Leutenant - This is the basic Clan member's rank.
There are no real duties accocated with this rank. minimum skill and activity only.
- commander - once a leutenant has won 25 games, they are elligble for commander and captain rankings.
For commander, a 1:1 ratio of wins and losses is required. Also, there are no real duties with this rank.
You could become envolved with training if you like.
- captain - the best players in the clan achieve a captains rank. 25 wins are also required but a 2:1 ratio of wins and losses is a steep requirement of this rank.
Duties are to help with the training of clam members whenever possible.
Leadership Ranks
- Admiral - Any officer can be given an admirals rank if they are active enough. Admiral ranks are given for purposes of ambassidors, webmaster duties, and special assignments.
Admirals outrank captains but may have far less skill. Anyone can be an admiral as long as they stay active.
- Fleet Admiral - The man in charge. We hold elections once a month between two clan members appointed by the councel. Running the clan is usually reserved for the player who started the clan.
In DTU, any active player can run the clan for a while!
The Councel
The councel is made up of a core of clan members who oversee elections and make sure the clan is going in the right direction.
The leadership of the clan is the fleet admiral but the councel often confers for advice.
